Crews have started dismantling the Sleeping Beauty Castle-inspired sculpture in the Disneyland Resort Esplanade. Constructed last year, the sculpture was part of the Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration, which is now wrapping up.
Castle Sculpture Coming Down

The sculpture is now surrounded by construction walls. Its towers and roof have been removed.

Some of the sculpture, including colorful stained glass and golden archway elements, are still visible. See what the full sculpture looked like below.

On top of each tower was an element representing one of the park’s original lands. The circular base featured Mickey and Friends.
The 70th anniversary celebration officially comes to an end August 9, 2026.
