Disneyland Resort released a new interactive Scary Teddy based on the toy from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Scary Teddy sold out within 48 hours but will hopefully be restocked soon.
Interactive Scary Teddy – $74.99
Also known as the Vampire Doll, this toy is made of soft black fabric with white stripes and buttons. Its hard plastic face has big eyes with tiny pupils, a tiny nose, and a wide red mouth showing off sharp teeth.
It comes inside a coffin-shaped box with black and white designs inspired by the art style of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The teddy actually sits up and lays down inside the coffin. Its eyes also up and close with the motion so it appears to be waking up.
The toy will be available from the recently reopened Port Royal Curios and Curiosities in New Orleans Square at Disneyland.
