The new bus stop at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially opens tomorrow, July 13, according to a notification guests received.
Opening Letter

Guests visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will soon be able to use the new bus stop on the property. Per a letter they received from general manager Lauren Gossett, which we cite above from Tikiman Pages, the bus stop opens tomorrow, July 13:
Thank you for choosing Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We are delighted to share our signature blend of South Pacific charm and Disney hospitality with you.
To ensure our facilities continue to meet our high standards, parts of our resort are undergoing exterior maintenance during your stay. Beginning Monday, July 13, Walt Disney World Bus Service will pick up and drop off from a new load zone—located between the Rarotonga building and Guest parking lot at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Should you have any questions or need additional assistance, our Front Desk Cast Members will be happy to assist you.
Tomorrow is also when the new traffic patterns go into place because of roadwork in the area.
The new bus stop has appeared complete since last month, and we have been wondering when it would open. The new bus stop is part of broader entrance and transportation-area work at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
