The brand new bus stop at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is now open at Walt Disney World.
Bus Stop Opens

During our visit this morning, July 13, the bus stop officially opened for guests. Several guests were there waiting to head to the parks. We announced today’s opening yesterday after guests received notification from the hotel.

Per the signage at the bus stop, the bus is for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. Guests are able to get to both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom via the monorail.

We spotted “transportation update” signs around the property as well, alerting guests that the bus stop is open. It is located between the Rarotonga building and the guest parking lot.

The directory at the stop lets guests know that there are three pick-up points:
- 1. Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- 2. Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
- 3. Disney Springs and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

There is also a “boarding the bus” guidelines sign at the bus stop.

The new bus stop has appeared complete since last month, and we have been wondering when it would open. The new bus stop is part of broader entrance and transportation-area work at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
