The SeaBase Aquarium gift shop at The Seas With Nemo & Friends in EPCOT has a new pressed penny machine. This replaces an old machine as part of a roll-out of next generation penny machines at Walt Disney World featuring large touch screens and updated tap-to-pay points.
The Seas Pressed Penny Machine
The new pressed penny machine can be found along the wall with the collectible medallions, customized tag, and portable charger machines.
It’s the shortest machine but has the same style of exterior blue paneling matching the collectible medallions and tag machines.
One penny is $1 or you can get all 8 designs for $5. As with the old machine, the designs feature Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid characters but the designs are brand-new. Notably, there are no more characters from Finding Dory and the new designs mostly have a horizontal orientation instead of vertical.
The featured characters are:
- Ariel and Flounder
- Nemo
- Squirt
- Bruce
- The Seagulls
- Crush
- Dory
- Marlin and Nemo
All the Finding Nemo coins have the movie’s logo and the individual characters have their names next to them.
New pressed penny machines have also recently arrived at Magic Kingdom.
