Construction Wall Falls on Guests at Universal Orlando Resort

TikTok videos have gone viral on social media, showing first-person perspectives as a construction wall falls on them at Universal Orlando Resort as they were on a pedestrian bridge.

Construction Wall Falls on Guests

At Universal Orlando Resort, there is one long walkway that runs from the parking garages to security and then to CityWalk. Construction in this area started back in March, with one of the moving walkways closed and blocked off with temporary walls.

Unfortunately for some guests, as they were walking along that walkway during stormy weather, a temporary construction wall fell on top of them.

Two videos were shared by TikTok user @desticce69i of the incident. As the video notes, the walkway was a bridge with cars driving beneath it. In the first video, the camera looks out at the rainy weather until guests start shrieking and the camera points down as the wall collapses on the person holding the camera.

Another video shows the point of view of the guests stuck between the construction wall and a metal fence. They try to push the wall off of them as another person stops to help them. The video ends with showing a large bruise the guest received as a result of the wall falling on them.

At the start of the video is a still photo of the aftermath of the incident. The temporary construction wall is lying on the ground as several Universal Studios Team Members walk around it. The video claims that Universal “refused to help.”
