Tokyo Disney Resort revealed the “Imagining the Magic” photography project honoring the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea. Works by photographer Masashi Asada are coming to photo exhibitions, merchandise, hotel rooms, and tickets.

The works depict Mickey and Friends at various Tokyo DisneySea locations, including with the iconic AquaSphere. The photos are meant to express the emotional moments and smiles of a day at the park. In addition to group photos, there are also photos of individual characters and pairs.
“Imagining the Magic” Merchandise
The photography project merchandise includes a camera strap, tote bag, and zip pouches. The collection will be released in three phases.
Tokyo Disney Resort will announce more details about the merchandise soon.
“Imagining the Magic” Hotel Rooms
Rooms in the Wish building of Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel will feature decorations and commemorative postcards based on the photography project. Guests can book a “Imagining the Magic ‘Sparkling Adventure!’ Room” for a limited time from Thursday, October 1, 2026 to Wednesday, March 31, 2027.
There will be three types of guest rooms featuring different wallpaper designs incorporating Asada’s photos. In the first room type, pictured above, there’s a large photo of the characters with the AquaSphere in the center of the wall above the beds. The smaller photos around it are exclusive to this room and can only be seen here.
In the second room type are eight portraits of Mickey and Friends in their sparkling 25th anniversary outfits along with their autographs. Along the bottom of the wallpaper are icons of Tokyo DisneySea.
The third room features candid shots of the characters in their “Dance the Globe!” costumes set against a world map.
The framed artwork in the rooms showcases the characters aboard the S.S. Columbia. This is the same design in all three room types.
Different postcard designs will be available during different periods. From October 1 to January 3, guests will get the above designs featuring Donald, Daisy, Chip, and Dale; Minnie and Pluto with the AquaSphere; and Mickey in his “Dance the Globe!” fit.
From January 4 to March 31, the designs will feature Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy; all the characters with the AquaSphere; and Donald in the American Waterfront.
