Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary has officially begun, and executives from both the Oriental Land Company and Disney commemorated the occasion with a special ceremony featuring fireworks and characters.
Sparkling Jubilee Officially Begins
From April 15, 2026, through March 31, 2027, guests visiting Tokyo DisneySea will get to experience new entertainment, merchandise, and food options for the 25th anniversary Sparkling Jubilee celebration, all themed to the special hue of “Jubilee Blue.”
While decorations and entertainment actually arrived last week, a special ceremony on April 15 officially commemorated the beginning of this landmark anniversary event.
The event featured brief speeches from executives of the Oriental Land Company and The Walt Disney Company, along with a band and low-level fireworks.
Several characters were on hand to celebrate, wearing their finest Jubilee Blue fits. Minnie wears a sparkling blue dress with purple ruffles and bows, plus an iridescent hairbow. Mickey’s top hat and tails match her dress, with blue and shiny white ombre pants to match his shoes.
Duffy and ShellieMay sport similar outfits to Mickey and Minnie, but Duffy wears a safari hat and purple bow tie, and ShellieMay’s ruffled petticoat is coral-colored.
Daisy and Goofy also made appearances. Daisy’s dress is detailed with pouf sleeves and lime green trim, while Goofy’s accent color is turquoise.
Cast Members waved blue Sparkling Jubilee flags as they greeted guests walking through the decorated entrance archway.

Sparkling Jubilee Offerings
During Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary celebration, guests can see characters like Mickey and Duffy at the Mediterranean Harbor in a new boat show.
