'Up' Movie Producer Plays 2009 'Up' Video Game for First Time

Jonas Rivera, producer for Pixar’s Up played the tie-in video game for the first time in the latest YouTube video shared by Pixar.

As part of the YouTube series PixARCADE, Pixar filmmakers share behind-the-scenes stories as they play games from their films. In the latest video, Jonas Rivera, producer of Up played the tie-in video game that released on multiple consoles in 2009.

Rivera is also a senior leadership team member at Pixar who has worked on other Pixar films and shows like Inside Out, Toy Story 5, and Dream Productions. He was joined by Up visual effects artist Michael Frederickson (Coco, Soul, Inside Out) for the video.

The Up video game is notable in that it utilizes the same voice cast from the film: Ed Asner as Carl Fredrickson, Jordan Nagai as Russell, Christopher Plummer as Charles Muntz, and Bob Peterson as Dug.
