Vanessa Bryant has shared a first look at a new Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Polka Dot” pack, with sneaker outlets connecting the unreleased designs to Kobe and Vanessa Bryant’s love of Disney.

Bryant revealed the shoes via her Instagram stories yesterday, July 7, alongside other various new shoe styles, including one pair of high-tops that appear to be inspired by Iron Man.

The two designs in the spotlight include two Nike Kobe 6 Protro colorways with bold polka-dot designs, both of which appear to be inspired by Minnie Mouse and the Bryant family’s affinity for Disney.

Sneaker News reinforced the Bryant-Disney connection, pointing to a past Instagram post in which Vanessa Bryant wrote, “Kobe will always be the Mickey to my Minnie.”

The mockup shoe designs feature one red pair covered in white dots featuring a black Nike Swoosh logo.

A second pair inverts the design, featuring a white base color with red dots and retaining a black Swoosh logo.

Both looks immediately drew comparisons to the signature red-and-white Disney styling associated with Minnie Mouse.

A third design of Disney-related sneakers, this time a pair of high tops, was included among Vanessa’s Instagram posts. This design appears to be inspired by Marvel’s Iron Man, given its primary red color with gold accents and a light-blue-and-white Swoosh logo.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro silhouette is one of the most recognizable models from Kobe Bryant’s signature Nike line. This new “Polka Dot” pack appears to continue a run of personal Kobe footwear styles shared by Vanessa Bryant, including other unreleased or upcoming designs tied to Kobe Bryant’s life and interests.

As of this writing, Nike has not commented on the designs nor corroborated any official release details.
