With just around a month before its February 3 reopening, the Mark Twain Riverboat at Disneyland is getting the final touches in its refurbishment process.
The entirety of the riverboat has gotten a fresh coat of paint. While work continues to be done before it reopens, the new paint already has the Mark Twain looking better than ever.
Scaffolding still surrounds the riverboat, and there is plastic wrapping some of the windows, but it appears as though much of the exterior paint job is complete.
Though it is still covered, you can see through the scaffolding that the Mark Twain name has been repainted.
Upon closer look, the “Disneyland U.S.A.” underneath “Mark Twain” also got a new paint job.
The Mark Twain Riverboat began refurbishment in September of 2023. The riverboat has since been docked atPelican’s Landing, where we’ve spotted work being done all around the boat. The February 3 reopening date was confirmed on the Disneyland website in December of 2023.
