The exclusive Visa Lounge at Universal Studios Florida is now open to select cardholders.
Universal Studios Florida Visa Lounge
The Visa Lounge is located at the front of the park, across from Guest Services. It is exclusive to Universal Rewards Plus Visa Signature cardholders. It has a counterpart at Universal Studios Hollywood that opened in March of 2024.
The entrance can be spotted by its blue and yellow awning.
Once inside, the first thing we noticed was how cold the air conditioning was, perfect for a break during a summer day at Universal Orlando Resort. The lounge is open every day from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
At the entrance, guests will be met with a team member. Each card holder can bring three additional guests with them into the lounge.
There is ample seating, all done in Visa’s signature blue and yellow colorway.
The design overall is clean and modern. The seating areas and all nicely separated so that different parties can take up their own section.
A high countertop is tucked into a nook with both regular outlets and USB outlets. This would be a great area to get a bit of work done in the park.
There is additional seating and tables on the right side of the room.
Along the back wall is a television and a refreshment area with two mini refrigerators stocked with complimentary water bottles.
The complimentary snacks offered during our visit included chips and granola bars.
Guests with their own reusable water bottles also have the option to fill up using the water refill station.
The lounge gets lots of sunlights from the windows to the left.
There’s a single stall family restroom exclusive to the Visa Lounge
The interior of the restroom has blue and gold tiling.
The primary Universal theming in the Visa Lounge comes by way of black and white photographs of Universal attractions past and present. This first one is of the Hollywood Backlot set.
Here, we have the signage for Captain Jake’s Amity Boat Tours, a.k.a Jaws, the attraction that was open from 1990 to 2012.
Next up is the exterior of Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast, with various Nicktoons, including Jimmy himself stood outside. The simulator attraction was open from 2003 through 2011, before being replaced by Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
Bruce the Shark gets his own photo, with the plaque noting he was in place in Amity from 1990 through 2012, before being relocated.
This photo is of the Institute of Future Technology marquee from Back to the Future The Ride, which was open from 1991 to 2002.
Finally, there is this photo of the Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe, which opened in 1998 and closed in 2022.
