Dave Filoni announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that Lucasfilm is working with Imagineering to add a Mandalorian and Grogu story to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Mandalorian & Grogu Millennium Falcon Adventure
The new adventure will come to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort. Disney’s partnership with Epic Games will help the story come to life thanks to Epic’s Unreal Engine, which Lucasfilm uses to create virtual sets for “The Mandalorian.”
“The intersection of storytelling and innovation has always been central to Lucasfilm and we’re excited to see where this collaboration will take us next,” Filoni said. “Just imagine it: you’ll be able to fly alongside Mando and Grogu on thrilling, and dangerous, missions.”

The mission is scheduled to launch when “The Mandalorian and Grogu” hits theaters in 2026. More details about how it will be incorporated into the existing Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge stories will be announced later.
