The lightsaber is silver with a black hilt. It lights up, but because of a battery tab, we were unable to turn it on.

The lightsaber sits in front of a red and black circle depicting the Rebel Alliance starbird. the symbol made its first appearance in the original “Star Wars” film in 1977. In “Star Wars” and the following films in the franchise, the symbol has been seen everywhere from pilot helmets to uniforms.

Other new “Star Wars” merchandise available at Walt Disney World includes gauntlet communicators and A-LT Series droid units. “Star Wars” merchandise from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event can also be found at the Disney Store.
