Disney Pins Blog revealed the upcoming pin trading events in an Instagram post. At Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Cast Members announced that the event at Walt Disney World would celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney Pin Trading, while the event at Disneyland would be called “Niftie Fifties Flashback.” No pins or other products have been announced for either event.

The 25th Anniversary event art features a portion of each logo from all of the previous, annual Disney Pin Celebration events through the years, dating back to the very first in 2001 at EPCOT. The final rectangle shows Maleficent as she appeared on the poster for the Disney After Dark 2024 pin event, where this announcement was made.

The “Niftie Fifties Flashback Pin Trading Celebration 2025” logo depicts Mickey Mouse in a white and red striped suit, tipping his hat. Next to the event’s logo is a list of A-E coupons. The A-E ticketing system was used when Disneyland Park first opened in 1955. E-ticket attractions were the most popular, and most expensive. The system became defunct in 1982.

Of course, Disneyland Park will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2025, thus the retro-theme for the event taking place in 2025.

Dates and package details were not revealed for either event, and we don’t know when tickets will go on sale at this time. Tickets for these events generally sell out very quickly, so be sure to check back for more information.
