Christmas Day Wait Times at Walt Disney World Include 3 Hours for TRON

TRON Lightcycle Run has the longest wait time at Walt Disney World on Christmas Day 2024, surpassing 3 hours.

Walt Disney World Christmas Wait Times

List of Disney ride wait times, including Runaway Railway (90 min), Millennium Falcon (70 min), Slinky Dog Dash (80 min), Star Wars: Rise (100 min), Seven Dwarfs (105 min), Avatar (125 min), TRON (200 min).

As of 3:21 p.m., TRON Lightcycle Run peaked at a wait time of 200 minutes. The coaster introduced a standby queue in September 2024 after previously using only Lightning Lane and a virtual queue.

The second longest wait at Walt Disney World on the holiday is Avatar Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a 125-minute wait. Other high wait times include 105 minutes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, 80 minutes for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, 80 minutes for Slinky Dog Dash, 75 minutes for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and 75 minutes for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We also saw Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure rocket up the list to a 95-minute wait.

Not all wait times are hours long, though. “It’s Tough to be a Bug!”, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress all boast just 5-minute waits.

TriceraTop Spin, which will close permanently in just a few weeks, has a 15-minute wait.

Most meet and greets vary from 25 minutes to 55 minutes.

Muppet*Vision 3D, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros are all temporarily closed. None are scheduled to be closed, although Muppet*Vision 3D will close permanently soon.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom is still using a virtual queue instead of a standby queue.
