A mother and child enjoy a thrilling ride on the AquaMouse water attraction, where an animated scene is beautifully projected onto the tunnel walls.

The AquaMouse has made its way to the Disney Treasure cruise ship with an all-new storyline focused on, what else, but treasure.

Disney Treasure AquaMouse

A boy and woman sit in an inflatable raft, captivated by a Disney treasure-themed animated scene on a screen inside a theme park ride tunnel.

The AquaMouse first debuted on the Disney Wish as the “first attraction at sea.”

It differs from the AquaDuck on the other Disney Cruise ships, as the attraction incorporates scenes set in the world of the modern Mickey Mouse animated shorts and special effects that make it a first-of-its-kind water ride.

The all-new story for the Disney Treasure is “Curse of the Golden Egg.” In it, guests can “join Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie in a search for a legendary treasure that’s hidden within the mysterious ruins of an ancient temple.” The other two stories featured on the Disney Wish, “Scuba Scramble” and “Swiss Meltdown,” are also offered on the Treasure. All three switch daily.

People gather around a stage with a large screen and water slides in the background on the Disney Treasure cruise ship deck.

The AquaMouse is 760 feet of winding tube that’s suspended high above the upper decks of the Disney Treasure.

Items that are permitted on the ride include swim goggles that go over only the eyes, Coast Guard personal flotation devices (PFDs), water wings, and bathing suits with sewn-in floatation.

Items not permitted include pool vests, floats, fun noodles, snorkel tubes, and swim masks that cover the eyes and nose.

Children must be potty trained to ride the AquaMouse as swim diapers are not permitted on the slide or in any swim areas.

Kids under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older. Guests 7 years or older may ride alone. Guests must be 42″ or taller to ride with a companion, and single riders must be 54″ or taller.
