During our lastest round through Universal Orlando Resort, we stopped by to check on the progress of the CityWalk Universal Studios Store expansion. More wooden framing is now taking shape, providing us with a better idea of what the new building will look like when it opens.

Workers in helmets tackle a roof project near a massive billboard advertising the Store Expansion at Universal Studios. Two pedestrians stroll through CityWalk below, taking in the vibrant construction scene around them.

Approaching the store from the ground, we could see construction crew members still working on the roof overhang that was just added during our last update report.

From a higher angle, we can see the top of the roof overhang is being covered and waterproofed. Two crew members have a stepladder placed to the right as they work on that section.

At the construction site, an unfinished wooden structure stands tall amidst two red scissor lifts and safety signage, signaling the eagerly anticipated store expansion at CityWalk near Universal Studios.

Two red scissor lifts are waiting to be used on the left side. Additional stepladders were originally standing in this area, so the lifts are likely being used to provide better roof access for the crew.

A construction site buzzes with activity, showcasing wood framing and a red ladder amidst the backdrop of CityWalk. The storefront, hinting at a new Universal Studios Store, has its signage partially obscured by the structural hustle.

Looking closer to the ground, the large stacks of plywood are now smaller. The plywood is now being installed to shape the walls and edges of the building before it is covered and painted.

The construction site, possibly part of the CityWalk Expansion, features various pieces of plywood and metal beams placed against a wall and surrounded by blue structural elements.

Several walls and columns for the entryway are now wrapped in plywood. During our last update, the yellow sheathing was still mostly visible. Now, the yellow has been almost completely covered here.

A construction entrance with blacked-out doors and signs for PPE requirements and "No Smoking" hints at something big on the horizon. Wood framing peeks through, alongside paneling and materials, evoking intrigue near the future Universal Studios Store at CityWalk.

Near the doorway, the various warning signs are still standing. The pink insulation has still not been closed on the left.

The newly expanded footprint of the Universal Studios Store will include a new Harry Potter area featuring a selection of Butterbeer and an area for Super Nintendo World with its own dedicated entrance. Additional merchandise for Epic Universe, likely similar to some of the merchandise currently sold in the Epic Universe Preview Center, will also be included.
