The shortbread cookie has returned to Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums in Disney Californa Adventure, now called the Firey Jack-Jack.

As you might expect, we found this new cookie at the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums cart on Pixar Pier.
Firey Jack-Jack – $6.75
Shortbread Cookie dipped in Chocolate with a Jack-Jack Chocolate Piece

This cookie may look unique, but its base is a standard shortbread cookie found at many other park locations. It was not particularly moist or special, and the cookie really only acts as a serving vessel for the cute flaming Jack-Jack design. Again, the frosting is a standard sugar flavor and is only colored differently.

We didn’t particularly dislike this cookie. However, if you rush all the way to Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, we like the other cookies available on the menu much better. Plus, if you just want a shortbread cookie, you can easily find one in a bakery case or prepackaged for a cheaper price and less of a line. We only recommend this cookie if you really want to take a selfie with it.
Rating out of 7: 4
This cookie is part of a group of menu items returning to Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park after a lengthy absense. We recently reviewed the returning PB&J Split at Clarabelle’s Ice Cream and the seasonal Maple Bacon churro.
