Disney Cruise Line Debuts Official Spotify Playlist Themed to Disney Destiny

Ahead of the maiden voyage of the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Destiny, on November 20, 2025, Disney has released a Spotify playlist to celebrate.

The new playlist features over 80 fan-favorite songs that “speak to the exciting venues onboard and the ship’s unique heroes and villains theme.” These include tunes from classic Disney animated and live-action films, the Main Theme from “Star Wars,” tunes from Marvel movies, and music from Disney attractions.

Songs from “The Lion King” will prepare future guests to dine at the all-new restaurant on the ship, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. The new offering will be a dinner show with the restaurant decor inspired by the African savanna. The full show will feature musicians and actors telling the story of “The Lion King’ with authentic African instruments.

A stage performance depicts a figure battling a multi-headed, purple dragon-like creature under dramatic lighting, reminiscent of a Disney fantasy, with an audience watching spellbound by its destiny.

Hits from “Hercules” will prepare guests for the new Broadway-style stage show that will debut onboard at the Walt Disney Theatre. The new stage show was first announced in 2024 and will “stay true to the story and spirit” of the animated film while adding a contemporary aspect. The show will also debut “Shooting Star,” which was a ballad that was cut from the animated film. Puppetry will play a large role in the show’s storytelling, as concept art revealed a large multi-headed Hydra puppet.

One guest uses a wheelchair. — An evening at De Vil’s piano lounge on the Disney Destiny will be a lavish affair emblematic of the bar’s namesake, the fabulously over-the-top villain Cruella de Vil of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “One Hundred and One Dalmatians” and the acclaimed 2021 live action film. Amid sultry tunes from the spotted piano, guests will wind down in style with trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubblies. (Disney)

The playlist also includes songs from “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” which will “set the tune” for the new adult-exclusive piano lounge, De Vil’s. The lounge will be inspired by none other than Cruella de Vil from the film. The lounge will feature designer drinks inspired by Disney characters and icons. The space will also include red and white sofas surrounded by vintage lamps and feathery decorations. A black and white spotted piano will sit at the center of the lounge, where a pianist will play live music.
