Location

A map view of an amusement park area displays pathways, buildings, water features, and labeled rides, including the wheelchair-accessible Constellation Carousel and Astronomica.

Astronomica is located in Celestial Park, across the water from Constellation Carousel and near the show fountain.

Experience

A round Astronomica fountain with compass design sprays water, with a domed building and cloudy sky behind.

Astronomica is a giant compass rose painted on the pavement. Water spurts out of fountains in different patterns. The water sprays are synched with an original score.

A dry splash pad with a compass design fronts the Astronomica dome under a partly cloudy sky.

At night, Astronomica glows just like the rest of Celestial Park. The name “Astronomica” is written on a nearby planter with a built-in bench.

There are bronze medallions embedded around Astronomica featuring the names and symbols of other Epic Universe worlds and attractions. These each have an arrow pointing to the location, so guests can literally use Astronomica as a guide through the park.

There are medallions for Stardust Racers, Chronos (main entrance), Constellation Carousel, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Each has a uniquely-colored border around the symbol, like light blue for Constellation Carousel and purple for Dark Universe.
