Located at Tokyo Disney Resort inside Tokyo DisneySea’s Mediterranean Harbor port, Hotel MiraCost is known for being a premier Disney Resort due to its luxury, theme, service, and more.

Upon entering the room, the rich colors, tones, and luxuriousness are the first things you notice.

The closest is stocked with additional bedding and hangers. The door on the closet activates the lights upon opening. There is also a safe to protect any valuable belongings.

The room also comes furnished with resort-exclusive slippers and pajamas. The green slippers are made for children, while the white ones are made for adults. The pajamas are located in the television cabinet.

Just next to the closet in the hallway is a coffee and tea station. Inside the cabinet is a small refrigerator and additional shelving for storage.

The set includes a kettle, tea, coffee, and stir sticks along with glasses and mugs.

The white mugs are actually custom-made for Hotel MiraCosta with the hotel logo on the bottom of each.

This particular room has a beautiful king size bed that is designed with a detailed, Italian-style theming.

Both sides of the bed feature nightstands with two standard plugs (two-prong in Japan) and a lamp. On one is an alarm clock, phone, MiroCosta-labeled notepad, and pen.

The detailed headboard features a hidden Mickey while Mermaid Minnie is showcased in the marble-like, Italian art style runner.

Near the bed hangs a tapestry featuring Mickey and friends as they prepare for an adventurous voyage.

Some areas of the ceiling were recessed with Mermaid Minnie Mouse-themed wallpaper trim.

Just in front of the bed is a television cabinet with drawers for storage. A luggage rack is also available.

The little table was extremely detailed and is a great place to sit and look out, especially with a theme park view.

Also working as a desk, the table has drawers with take-home postcards. Atop the table are reusable MiroCosta bags.

As shown above, one of our only complaints is that the rooms in this resort are rather dark. However, this is part of the overall theming and not a deal-breaker when it comes to such a superior room.

A beautiful map “presenting the unknown lands of the western ocean” features nods to Queen Clarabella (Clarabelle Coe) and King Horatio (Horace Horsecollar) along with some Easter eggs to other Disney Parks, people, and locations around the world.

Similar to other resorts at Tokyo Disneyland, there is a center vanity with a toilet on one side and a shower on the other. Since this is an accessible room, the shower and toilet were in the main room instead of being walled off. The vanity itself was made of beautiful marble, and underneath was a rolling storage cabinet and a stool to sit on.

The self-cleaning toilet comes with a bidet. As this is an accessible room, there are also handles near the toilet and in the bathtub/shower.

In the drawers of the vanity are tissues and a hair dryer.

The small gold make-up mirror is ornate and is actually detached, something rare in Disney resorts. There are also exclusive take-home amenities such as toothbrushes, amenity kits, and small MiraCosta cups.

The resort has custom-stamped towels with the “M” logo. There were many different sizes of these towels in the bathroom.

Another rarity for Tokyo Disney Resorts is the tub, as most resorts do have walk-in showers. There are adjustable shower heads, though, so guests can take showers instead of baths.

There are more “M” labeled towels along with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the shower.

The room also comes furnished with slippers and pajamas. The green slippers are made for children, while the white ones are made for adults. They are exclusive to the resort.

Possibly the best part of this room is the view. The Porto Paradiso section features a view of the Tokyo DisneySea Mediterranean Harbor and Mount Prometheus. With this view, we could watch Prometheus erupt and even had an ocean view beyond the park.
