Robert and Janine Pecha, of Staten Island, New York, were arrested for third-degree felony child neglect in February 2024 after they were found allegedly intoxicated in their hotel room at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Robert was also charged with misdemeanor domestic violence for allegedly hitting his wife several times in front of their 5-year-old and 3-year-old children.

The Pechas have both been cleared of charges, their attorney, Angela Marriott, informed WDWNT.

Judge Andrew Asher Bain of the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida signed notices on May 9, 2024, stating the “case is not suitable for prosecution” and action would be taken to “clear the records and to release subject’s bond if any has been posted” and to release the defendants if in custody.
