We ate the Mickey and Friends Giant Sundae Party dessert at Hong Kong Disneyland in celebration of the resort’s 20th anniversary.

The 20th anniversary celebrations have officially begun at Hong Kong Disneyland, and WDWNT is on location to check out the new offerings and entertainment—even if it means eating a giant $87 dessert.

This dessert is advertised to feed 4-6 people and can take 20-30 minutes to prepare. The Cast Member warned us of this, but we ended up waiting only about ten minutes for the monstrous treat. It is available now at Main Street Corner Cafe.
Mickey and Friends Giant Sundae Party – $87
chocolate | marshmallow | jelly | sponge cake | panna cotta | mixed berries | whipped cream

The description for this dessert is misleading, as there seems to be way more ingredients than what is listed by the picture. There were a lot of different ice cream flavors, like vanilla with chocolate chip, coffee, and strawberry, which were all enjoyable. The berries, which we think are strawberries and blueberries, were all fresh and went a long way to breaking up the sugary sweetness of the other ingredients. The cake is also incredibly moist, soft, and truly delicious.
Some of the ingredients were hard to define, like a tasty chocolate mousse (or pudding) and a crunchy chocolate of some kind that helped give this a much needed crunch.
The panna cotta is actually the worst part of this treat, as it is very milky and heavy. The texture does not vibe with the summer humidity in Hong Kong. It makes you feel very heavy in sweaty in an unpleasant way. The marshmallows didn’t add much, and the “jelly” was essentially Jello with a more chewy consistency. It reminded us of stale Jello, if that’s a thing.

Overall, for 4-6 people to share (as the menu says) this will be a memorable dessert. Sadly, the panna cotta and the jelly really hurt this. But, maybe the more negative ingredients are not enough to undo the insane pictures you can acquire with this behemoth. All the other components are quite good, though we would still have some trouble rationalizing it to be worth roughly $87 USD when converted. Nonetheless, eating it was definitely an unforgettable experience.
20th Anniversary Party Champagne Flute

Also available at the Corner Cafe is a 20th Anniversary Party Champagne Flute, which can be purchased with an Apple Peach Soda or Champagne. The “Party Bubbles” continue the tradition that began with the plastic champagne flutes on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland, Paris. This trend has continued with offerings at various Disney California Adventure festivals.
The price converts to roughly $15 for the flute with the apple peach soda or $28 with the champagne.
The nonalcoholic beverage here is pretty pleasant. It’s not overly sweet, and we would describe it as very drinkable. Apple and peach is a nice combination, and we doubt you will have a problem with this beverage if looking for a refreshing bubbly, nonalcoholic drink.
“The Most Magical Party of All” began on June 28, 2025, although the actual anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland is September 12. New character costumes, the Friendtastic! Parade, and “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky” have all debuted as part of the celebration.
