As part of The Most Magical Party of All — the 20th anniversary celebration — the new Friendtastic Parade has debuted at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Friendtastic Parade
The Friendtastic Parade replaces the Flights of Fantasy parade. It has eleven floats, kicking off with Mickey and friends. It’s the largest parade Hong Kong Disneyland has ever had, and features four new original songs combined with iconic movie soundtracks.

Mickey and friends ride on a golden float adorned with giant florals.

Behind them are Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from “Zootopia.” The float is meant to resemble Times Square-esque screens with advertisements and other references to the world of Zootopia. Officer Clawhauser follows the float for his first appearance at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Baymax and his friends from “Big Hero 6” are next up. Baymax is horizontal with his fist out and smoke coming from his boots to make him look like he’s soaring over San Fransokyo.
The next five floats are all Pixar themed, starting with “Toy Story.” An RC car is used as the float for Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Close behind is Mike, Boo, and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.” Boo’s door sits behind the crew with a scream/laughter canister beside it.
Mei from “Turning Red,” in Red Panda form, rides a small round float. There’s a boombox on the front, photos of her friends on the sides, and a friendship bracelet overhead like an archway.
Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out” were supposed to ride on top of many memories with the control panel in front of them, but the float was missing from our viewing. However, some stock images shared by Disney show a float designed like Riley’s control panel on top of a base filled with memory orbs.
The last Pixar float is themed to “Up” and features Carl and Russell atop clouds. Dug sits above them with balloons tied to his collar.

Casita floats down Main Street, U.S.A., with Mirabel, Isabela, and Luisa front and center. Bruno is hiding on the back of the float. This marks Isabela’s first appearance at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Duffy and Friends join in on the celebration with a float inspired by the “Duffy and Friends Play Days” event. It has a tall fruit tree, a bridge, and a river.

This is the first parade float themed to Duffy. Some of his friends featured include Gelatoni, Olu’Mel, CookieAnn, and more.

The Castle of Magical Dreams appears in miniature form, carrying with it some Disney Princesses, including Elsa, Anna, Jasmine, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Gold statues of the beloved sidekicks from each of their respective films are attached to nearby pedestals.
The parade is approximately 30 minutes long and expected to run twice daily, weather permitting.
