Ahead of the parade’s premiere in just under two weeks at Disney World Magic Kingdom, a “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” popcorn bucket was released at Magic Kingdom.
Disney Starlight Parade Popcorn Bucket – $14.25

This is the standard bucket tub shape with a handle and lid with a hook. It features wraparound concept art of all the parade’s floats. The lid and handle are dark blue.
The bucket was available at the Maurice’s Amazing Popping Machine popcorn cart in Fantasyland. However, it was released early by mistake, and Disney pulled it within minutes of our arrival. It will be re-released closer to the parade’s premiere (possibly on the premiere date of July 20). It comes with a serving of popcorn and can be refilled for $2.25.

In addition to the popcorn bucket, there will be a “Disney Starlight” merchandise collection, including a pin and light-up ear headband, plus a “Star-Kissed” popcorn mix at Main Street Confectionery.
‘Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away’ Details
“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” is the first year-round Magic Kingdom nighttime parade since “Main Street Electrical Parade” ended its last run in 2016. The only nighttime parades performed in the years since have been seasonal and special event parades like Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. “Disney Starlight” draws inspiration from “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “SpectroMagic” with light-up floats and costumes.
Mickey and Friends appear on the parade’s finale float in new costumes. The Blue Fairy leads the parade on a Mary Blair-inspired float with Peter Pan, Wendy, and Elsa. Other floats are inspired by “Encanto,” Disney Princesses and Princes, “Moana,” “Coco,” and “Wish.”
“Disney Starlight” premieres on July 20, 2025. Starting that day, Annual Passholder reservation rules for Magic Kingdom will change. Annual Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom are fully booked for the premiere date.
“Disney Starlight” will not be performed on evenings with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
The parade will have twice-nightly performances, traveling up the Magic Kingdom parade route from Main Street to Frontierland.
