Disneyland Resort is hosting Disney Jr. Let’s Play! — three days of Disney Jr.-inspired activities and offerings. On Friday morning, guests were treated to the special Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Block Party, a cavalcade of Disney Jr. characters at Disney California Adventure.

Mickey and Minnie led the party in the bike floats that are also used for The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade. For the one-day-only cavalcade, the floats received Disney Jr. Let’s Play! banners.

Mickey and Minnie wore their outfits from Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! The stage premiered at Disney California Adventure just a few weeks ago. It’s inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and its Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ revival.

The dancers in the cavalcade wore colorful costumes. There were drummers in last year’s block party, but they were absent this year. A pair of performers carried a Disney Jr. Let’s Play! banner and others had giant rainbow balloon arches.

The rest of Mickey’s pals were in the Disneyland fire truck, which had colorful balloon and streamer decorations. Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy also wore their outfits from the new stage show.

After Mickey and Friends was Spider-Man riding in Jessie’s humvee from A Christmas Fantasy Parade. The humvee was also covered in balloons, streamers, and a Disney Jr. Let’s Play banner. Spidey’s extra-big head is inspired by his appearance in the Disney Jr. show Spidey and His Amazing Friends.

Several more characters appeared in the cavalcade on the omnibus, including Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger.

The cavalcade was at 10:30 a.m. Other Disney Jr. activities at Disney California Adventure on Friday include Disney Jr. Let’s Play Live! and Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties. The event continues at Downtown Disney District on Saturday and Sunday.

During Disney Jr. Let’s Play!, Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis announced Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ was renewed for two seasons, plus a new Cars show, the first-ever preschool Avengers show, and more.
