Halloween Horror Nights season approaches, and some confections are already available at Universal Orlando Resort. We tried three of the new Five Nights at Freddy’s themed items.
HHN 2025 Five Nights at Freddy’s Treats
Chica Chocolate Cookie – $6.50

This cookie was one of the worst pastries we’ve ever had. It’s not just a bad cookie, it’s downright bad. The chocolate is somehow both too faint and also smoky. It’s dry and there’s no frosting to save it — only bland fondant.
Don’t just take it from me — our junior reporter (age six) couldn’t even finish his bite. He said it was “ruinous.” Do you know how bad a cookie has to be for a little kid to refuse it? This is that bad.

Freddy Fazbear Caramel Apple – $13

The caramel apple is a standard caramel apple, but it’s fresh and flavorful. The apple inside can make or break these kinds of treats, which isn’t the fault of the confectioner, but this apple was great. There wasn’t much caramel, but we preferred it this way.
The ears and hat are chocolate with edible paper print that didn’t affect the taste. It’s not superb chocolate, but it isn’t the cheap stuff either. The face was just edible paper and had no flavor. We hesitate to call Freddy “cute” but honestly, this is cute. The presentation buys it an extra point.

There will also be an Evil Mr. Cupcake (Cupcake), but it wasn’t available when we stopped by. Stay tuned for our review once it arrives!
Five Nights at Freddy’s at Halloween Horror Nights
Five Nights at Freddy’s will be one of the 10 haunted houses during Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort. The house will take guests into Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria as they are hunted by the deadly animatronics Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.
The haunted house in Orlando will include a “fully animated Freddy Fazbear performing like he would in the movie or video game.” Guests will also get to dine at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria during Halloween Horror Nights.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 runs from August 29 through November 2.
