Lil Boo at Cabana Bay Beach Resort
The Pumpkin Lord has taken over the Swizzle Lounge at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort. This Halloween overlay began a few years ago and includes dozens of glowing Jack-o’-Lanterns.
Next to the bar are three barrels topped with pumpkins, vines, and other props. A sign advertises “Mr. Carver’s Best Selection of Pumpkins.”
The wall behind the bar has textured Jack-o’-Lantern paneling. Fully dimensional Jack-o’-Lanterns sit among vines on the cabinets. You’ll see Lil’ Boo right in the center, underneath a TV.
Don’t worry — the famous gourd will (probably) still appear in Universal Studios Florida. We expect to see him join his fellow Jack-o’-Lanterns in the trees of The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane scare zone.

The overhang above the bar is draped with vines and mesh. A collection of Jack-o’-Lanterns is on a barrel next to a column.

A book on a display stand features the instructions for summoning the Pumpkin Lord.
Hanging over the lounge area are vines of Jack-o’-Lanterns. They’re wrapped around columns and among the palm trees in the center.

More crates, barrels, Jack-o’-Lanterns, and other props are in stacks around the lounge’s columns.
Sapphire Falls Resort

Sapphire Falls Resort has a haunted mansion vibe to its lobby lounge. This is also a recurring overlay. Faux stone columns frame the stairs into the conversation pit. Candles and candelabras adorn the columns and tables.

Couches and chairs are covered in tattered blue sheets. There are old books and “dead” flowers on trays.

In the center of the room are chairs leaning against a fallen chandelier. Vines and roses grow around the furniture.

There’s a photo op in front of the windows. Guests can pose holding a candelabra. Scan the QR code on the sign to activate a spooky filter.

Grim reaper figures stand on plinths at the back of the room. They have foliage growing over them, just like the chandelier and chairs. Tattered curtains hang in the windows.
Aventura Hotel
Aliens are back at Universal Aventura Hotel. A photo op in the lobby puts you in the middle of an alien abduction with a UFO above and a floating suitcase beside you.

The lobby bar has a covering that looks like a hodgepodge of spaceship materials. There are pipes and ducts and wires leading up to a trio of alien figures.

The aliens appear to have stolen some guests’ suitcases. They have a series of screens displaying blue graphics.
Dead Coconut Club
At CityWalk, the Koven is preparing the Dead Coconut Club for pledges. The seasonal overlay of Red Coconut Club will have a witches’ coven theme. Judging by the coven’s logo and a new banner, they’re also a college sorority.
A “Welcome Pledges!” banner hangs from the club’s balcony, with arrows pointing down towards the entrance. The banner features butterflies. On the balcony behind it are Jack-o’-Lanterns.
Across from the club are scaffolding towers with lights attached. Planters are around them to keep guests at bay.
Directly in front of the club, behind barriers, are piles of branches. These have been here for several days.
Entrance & The Origins of Horror Scare Zone (Minion Land)
The main Halloween Horror Nights entrance in Universal Studios Florida has additional vines and foliage. HHN 34 is set inside The Conservatory, which guests enter via The Origins of Horror scare zone.

There are now vines all over the entrance gates. They also wrap around the columns.

Behind the columns are potted plants. More potted plants sit alongside the platforms directly behind the entrance. The railings around the platforms are also covered in vines.

Additional vines have been added to the structures along Illumination Avenue.
Sting Alley (New York)
Speaking of plants — the only change to Sting Alley in the park’s New York area is the addition of a potted plant. It’s next to the alley’s food booth, which has green splatters of toxic waste from the New York scare zone.
Mutations: Toxic Twenties Scare Zone
Speaking of, the scare zone now has its own green splatters across set pieces and props. Green floor decals were added earlier this month but promptly removed.

There is green BzzzCon waste all over the crash site. This accidental spill of BzzzCon material causes mutations, hence the scare zone name, Mutations: Toxic Twenties.
The Florist stand now has toxic waste dripping from its sign and a barrel on the counter. When the stand was first installed, we could see an acidic hole in the flower boxes.
Now, globs of green are around the hole, appearing to have burned through the wood. It’s also splattered across the flowers.
More splatters are on the City Police Department barriers around the police car. This car, however, has not (yet) been touched by radioactive waste.
A radio was added to this set a few weeks ago and then covered by a tarp. It has been moved to a different stage.

The radio now sits on a barrel to the right of this stage. It and the barrels across the stage are covered in green waste.
A “Say no to Hooch!” banner has also joined the two anti-drinking signs hanging above the stage.

The Newsstand has its own green splatters dripping over the newspapers and the empty BzzzCon barrel.

The newspapers are harder to read now, but they tell the story of the BzzzCon spill that has led to this “toxic city.”
Sahara Traders (Tribute Store)

Sahara Traders will be home to this year’s Tribute Store and is slowly being transformed into a wing of the Museum of Antiquities. New Roman columns have been installed throughout the store, including these two tall columns near the arcade entrance. The arcade is currently closed to be transformed.

Another column is across a walkway, supported by shelves. This one is broken, as though it snapped in half and fell across the displays. A broken base is nearby, in front of a sarcophagus.
We noticed a projector on top of a shelf. It points towards the exit ramp of Revenge of the Mummy. We don’t yet know for sure if the ride’s exit will be redirected when the store officially becomes the Tribute Store.
Battery Park Bar

Battery Park has additional kitchen equipment behind the bar. Next to the TVs are new platforms, presumably for characters to stand on.
Cafe La Bamba

There’s also kitchen equipment at the Cafe La Bamba outdoor bar. Plus, additional vines have been added to the bar’s columns.
Point-of-sale counters have been added to most of the food booths, including Cafe La Bamba. This counter is located near the back of the bar and is currently unthemed.
Animal Actors on Location Booth

The food booths near Animal Actors on Location have kitchen equipment and a stony point-of-sale counter. Menu boards remain blank.
Springfield Tents
Behind Springfield, construction is complete on a ramp leading down to the haunted house tents. There are railings along the ramp and new fences around the tents.
The blank tent in front of the tent with a Fallout sign appears to be a covered queue.
This haunted house facade has additional props, including a bloody body on the porch roof.
Club Horror (San Francisco)

There are three small platforms in the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida. This will be home to Club Horror, a new “street experience” with a DJ.
San Francisco Candy Factory
Lil Boo has also taken over the San Francisco Candy Factory. Though the Jack-o’-Lantern himself is not here, this is where you can find all of his merchandise. New decorations in the store include crates and a barn-like structure at the entrance.

The decrepit structure has a Halloween Horror Nights 2025 sign. It’s draped with vines. Coolers are also adorned with crate decals featuring vines and Lil Boo.
On the back of the barn display is a Lil Boo sign. Hay barrels are stacked with merchandise.

There are pumpkins and Jack-o’-Lanterns atop the crates, shelves, and confectionery case. This all replaces the Jaws Amity Island overlay that was up for the summer.

The cubbies around the ceiling of the store are now filled with Jack-o’-Lanterns and vines.
Black Phone 2 Booth

Between San Francisco and London is a photo op for Blumhouse’s Black Phone 2, in theaters on October 17. The backdrop is shaped like the Blumhouse logo and features a snowy landscape. A retro phone booth sits on the base with a dirty black payphone inside.
Fanta Booths

There are now Fanta-sponsored booths throughout the park, all emblazoned with the “Wanta Fanta?” tagline. This one at the Universal Music Plaza features orange Fanta.

A booth next to the World Expo bridge (which is still under construction) features red strawberry Fanta. The booths all have graffiti-style artwork.

In front of the Fear Factor stage is a booth featuring yellow pineapple Fanta, so you’ll be able to grab a drink after watching Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay.
Food Booths

As we mentioned, food booths and trucks throughout the park now have point-of-sale counters. These are generally themed to match the booth and have mounted menu boards.

One of the food truck’s counters resembles the exposed, rusty battery compartment of a toy. This truck seems to be inspired by the Dolls: Let’s Play Dead house. The batteries inside the compartment are labeled BzzzCon.
