Last week we announced that there would now be park specific reusable bags coming and today, Animal Kingdom has released theirs! Hollywood Studios and Epcot’s new designs were released as well.
These Animal Kingdom unique bags come in three sizes and feature icons such as Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari, Pandora and the Tree of Life, all in a green and white color scheme.
The small bags cost $1.00 to purchase.
The medium bags costs $1.50.
And the large bags costs $2.00.
There’s a sign featuring the price of the new bags on the registers. Plastic bags are still available if you choose not to purchase a reusable shopping bag.
Are you excited for all of these park specific reusable bags? Don’t forget to check out the other park specific bags and check back soon for Magic Kingdom’s design!
Just another money grab from Disney. There merchandise is so overpriced they can afford an alternatively made bag that is reusable or degradable for free.
If they gave these away for free, people would just toss them like they do the current plastic bags, which would negate the entire point. Sadly, most people only assign value to things they have to pay for. A dollar or two is a truly token amount but will make all the difference in how these bags will be treated once they leave the shop.
These will catch on and people will stop complaining. They are the least expensive souvenir you can purchase.
Why are you complaining? If it will reduce the amount of plastic in our environment then I’m for it. A large bag is $2 and they are reusable. How much do you spend on your caffeine fix each week?
Forget the Tree of Life or Tree of Dice. I see the Tree of Broccoli.
