Disney is now casting the host of “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show will open as part of the reimagined Animation Courtyard in the summer of 2026.
Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Casting
The show debuted at Disney California Adventure in May 2025. It’s inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (2006 – 2016) and the 2025 revival Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+.
A human host named Sam assists Mickey and Minnie as they search for Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto, who haven’t arrived for their party. The show features original songs as well as songs from the animated series.
Disney Live Entertainment is seeking “vibrant, energetic, and dynamic” vocalists/actors to play the host (unnamed in the casting call). The “youthful, quirky” role is not gender specific and Disney is seeking actors from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds with diverse abilities and personalities. The ideal candidate “should be friendly and comfortable engaging with children, especially in live performance.” Improv skills and the ability to connect with young aduiences are key and experience with pop dance styles is a plus.
Disney is accepting online submissions until 11:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 18. Click here to apply and for more details.

“Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” replaces “Disney Junior Dance Party” and “Disney Jr. Play and Dance”. The reimagined Animation Courtyard will become Walt Disney Studios with a new version of The Magic of Disney Animation “where kids and kids at heart can laugh, draw, dream, and explore animated new experiences.”
It is partially inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Emmy Award-winning short film Once Upon A Studio, in which Disney characters come to life after the animators have left for the day. There will be interactive elements, character meet and greets as part of “Off The Page!”, and a Mary Blair-inspired Alice in Wonderland playground.
