Universal Files Trademark for ‘Celestial Goodnight,’ Possible Epic Universe Nighttime Show

A new trademark may offer a hint at a future Epic Universe nighttime show. While the Universal theme park is known for its spectacular night lighting, the closest thing it has to a nighttime spectacular is the Cosmos Fountain Show. Universal indicated they are “still looking into” fireworks.

Universal Celestial Goodnight may be the fireworks we’ve been looking for. The name comes from trademark application #99549242, filed by Universal Studios. The logo accompanying the trademark features a shooting star and crescent moon.

The application states the name and logo are for “Amusement park services; Entertainment services in the nature of an amusement park show”.

Celestial Park is the starry center land of Epic Universe, so the name and theme fits perfectly. Early Epic Universe concept art included fireworks above Universal Helios Grand Hotel and the lake behind the hotel has a peninsula apparently for fireworks launches.

Universal has made no announcements, so it’s possible Universal Celestial Goodnight won’t be a fireworks show or could get a different name later down the line.
