Teaser Announced for 'The Muppet Show'

As people celebrate the upcoming New Year, fans of The Muppets will want to keep their eyes peeled for more than just a descending disco ball. That’s because the second teaser trailer for The Muppet Show will be dropping, too.

ABC and Disney+ announced today that the second teaser trailer for The Muppet Show will play during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC. The promo image showed Miss Piggy wearing periwinkle and the text “She’s crashing the party” above her head.

The announcement did not say when during the broadcast the teaser trailer will play. However, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve begins at 8 p.m. Eastern and 7 p.m. Central on ABC.

Earlier in December, it was announced that the revival of The Muppet Show would premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026. The premiere coincides with the series’s 50th anniversary. Created by Jim Henson, the original The Muppet Show ran from 1976 to 1981.
