Concrete Poured for New Pool at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

Crews have poured concrete flooring for the new pool coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The pool is part of an expansion to the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area.

Aerial photos by photographer @bioreconstruct, shared on X, show the concrete foundation of the new zero-entry pool. It’s about the same size as the existing Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, although a different shape.

The buildings on the left side of the image are also brand new. They were just concrete walls in our last update but now have unfinished roofs.

A wooden frame between the building suggests they will be connected by some kind of breezeway. Some of the walkway behind these buildings has been paved.

A triangle of concrete walls next to the pool could be for a hot tub. When @bioreconstruct flew over the area, several crew members were working on a patch of land with large holes in the ground, between the new pool and construction walls.

The expansion will also include a tennis court and two pickleball courts. It’s not clear yet where exactly these will be. Construction will continue into mid-2026.

The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, as well as the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, remain open during construction. However, seating around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and guests may see or hear construction in the area.
