Rise of the Resistance and Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland are both currently closed ahead of the timeline shift in Galaxy’s Edge. Construction walls have gone up around the attraction, and a closure sign has been posted on the dining location.

Various themed signs that read “Access Denied” block the access points to the attraction. Green scrim also surrounds the area.

The ride has been closed since January 20, and there is no reopening date listed at this time. Watch our on-ride POV of Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance with functioning cannons:

Oga’s Cantina is also closed for refurbishment. A sign on the door reads “Closed for repairs from excessive Life Day celebrations.”
It has been closed since January 20, and there is no reopening date yet. The timeline update to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will have half the land set during the original trilogy and the other half still set during the sequel trilogy. This will affect the backstory of Oga’s Cantina, although Oga will still be the proprietor and DJ R-3X will still be spinning tunes.

Disney said there would be aesthetic changes throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and that could include Oga’s Cantina.
These changes will officially go into effect on April 29 but guests might see some updates before then. The timeline shift has not been announced for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, only Disneyland.
