The Tomorrowland Stage in Hong Kong Disneyland is now closed for construction of the new Tower of Terror-style Marvel ride.

Disney Magical Kingdom Blog shared photos on Instagram of construction walls around the stage and NRG POD snack kiosk. They were blocked off in late January, after the stage’s screen was shut down.

Construction walls run from the Space Traders gift shop next to Space Mountain to Expo Shop, the Marvel store.

NRG POD, the stage, and planet decorations are still visible behind the walls. A crane is in the distance preparing for construction.
Hong Kong Disneyland announced their Marvel-themed area, Stark Expo, in 2016. The idea was for it to replace part of Tomorrowland. The Iron Man Experience opened in 2017 followed by Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! (replacing Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters) in 2019.
An E-ticket Avengers Quinjet attraction was announced and set to open in 2023. Autopia closed in 2016 to make way for it. But after years without news of the attraction, it was canceled. In 2024, Hong Kong Disneyland announced the expansion was still planned and unveiled a new Spider-Man attraction to replace the Quinjet concept.

Concept art released last year confirmed the ride would be a Tower of Terror-style drop tower and would feature more Marvel characters other than just Spider-Man.
