Disney Cruise Line has increased Wi-Fi package pricing, but apparently only on select ships. The price increase may be rolling out in phases.

Disney Cruise Internet Packages

We heard reports of the increased Wi-Fi pricing in mid January. However, when we took a Disney Dream sailing in late January, our internet packages were the same price as previously — $26/day for the basic internet plan or $42/day for internet and streaming.

When we sailed on the Disney Fantasy soon after, we saw the plans were priced higher. The internet and streaming plan was now $49/day. The standard internet plan increased to $30/day.

It’s possible prices are being raised in phases across the Disney Cruise Line fleet and had not yet hit the Disney Dream during our January sailing but were in effect when we sailed on the Fantasy. Or there may be some other reason Disney increased pricing on one ship but not others.

We have not been able to confirm the current pricing on other Disney Cruise Line ships.
