We decided to take a trip over to Disney Springs and check out what’s new. When we first arrived, we spotted the sign advertising the Ron Jon Surf Shop that’s coming soon.
World of Disney has some construction walls up outside the store. When the Grapefruit Garage eventually (finally) opens, guests will be able to take a pedestrian bridge that drops them off near Basin and World of Disney. We are guessing there will be more signage to welcome and direct guests to Disney Springs.
Plenty of the Inside Out Rainbow Unicorn Funko Pops are still available at Pin Traders.
The new open edition Vanellope Von Schweetz MagicBand was also found at Pin Traders.
Valentine’s Day merchandise is still lingering at World of Disney. I guess “Be Mine” doesn’t exclusively have to be worn for Valentine’s Day. Unlike most grocery stores, Valentine’s Day chocolate isn’t marked down the day after the holiday. Bummer.
In the Art of Disney, there is a beautiful mosaic Ariel made of cedar. If $4,200 is in your budget, you can take home this wooden mermaid mosaic. If not, you can come to Disney Springs and admire it for free.
You can also purchase different framed autographs, like this one from the voices of Meg and Hercules.
There’s a new beverage cart on the bridge with tables set up near the water. This is such a beautiful spot and I’m glad to see it being put to use now.
The water is pretty low around the LEGO lagoon creature.
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company has some seasonal specialties that sound amazing.
Signs advertising brunch were spotted outside of Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Florida Kitchen and Raglan Road.
If you’re thinking of visiting Disney Springs for happy hour, there are a few locations offering specials.
There are two food trucks located on the West Side.
Goofy’s Candy Co. was making up a fresh batch of Mickey Premium Bar crisped rice treats. It’s always fun to watch the Cast Members making these delicious snacks.
All flavors of cotton candy are available again at Goofy’s Candy Co.
Sprinkles Cupcakes has Stuffed French Toast Cupcakes and Cookie Cupcakes available for a limited time. (Note: The Stuffed French Toast Cupcakes, while delicious, were only available until 2/18. We apologize for tempting you with such unattainable delights.)
If you haven’t had enough cuteness yet, we spotted a new shirt for “it’s a small world” at DisneyStyle. It’s a white shirt with cuffed sleeves and an adorable print of characters, animals, and signs from the attraction.
Even more “it’s a small world” merchandise was spotted in Ever After Jewelry Co. We spotted another new double-sided Alex and Ani bangle. This time, you can find the smiling clock face on one side of the bracelet, and “it’s a small world” on the other. Hopefully, we see more double sided bracelets like this one and the Princess Aurora one. You can add this silver Alex and Ani to your jewelry box for just $49.95.
Construction on Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres looks exactly the same as the last time we visited. Not much has changed.
NBA Experience is coming along nicely. Loving the details in the side panels.
Thanks for following us around Disney Springs! Stay tuned for the next photo report, as well as any breaking news on any of these upcoming projects.
