While it isn’t a sequel film or a live-action remake, fans of Atlantis: The Lost Empire will finally get to return to the story of Milo Thatch and Princess Kida with this upcoming graphic novel.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire Vol. 1: The Curse of Kurok

After 25 years, fans of Atlantis will learn what happened after the film’s end. This Atlantis sequel graphic novel was written by Matthew Manning (Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures) and art by Christian Colbert of Papercutz, who has done other work with Disney and Star Wars previously.

The book is currently available for pre-order and comes out on October 13, 2026.

As part of the 25th anniversary of the fan favorite film, Spirit Jersey has also released an Atlantis-inspired jersey. It is only available online at the Disney Store. At the time of writing, all sizes are still available except 3XL.
