The construction walls that were erected last week by the exterior queue of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland have come down, revealing new larger emergency exits for the attraction. These exits were recently behind walls as Disney must have deemed them to not be adequate or suitable for the expected crowds.
It’s hard to tell exactly what was changed, but it seems that the exit was increased in size.
Both exits are currently blocked off by trash cans.
Here’s a look at what the area looked like with construction walls in place. You can see how deep back into the exit pathway that the themed construction walls went, but we are glad they are gone to make the pathway looks more natural and in-theme again.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland on January 17, 2020.
