Back in October, the new security screening area and tram loop opened at EPCOT. There was still construction around a good part of the entrance, though. Today, the tram loop is now completely open to guests, and offers a side for dropping off guests and a separate side for picking up. Take a look at some of the latest changes to the entrance of the park.
If you’re standing at the exit of the park and looking towards the parking lot, the left side of the loop is for drop off only. The right side of the loop is now open, and is for picking guests up to return to the parking lot.
The right side is for loading only.
There is a long row of silver railings installed on the newly opened side. Guests exiting the park and looking for a ride back to the their car must use the right side with the railings. If you’re leaving, head for the shiny silver railings on the right side of the loop.
The side of the tram loop that has been open for a couple months is now strictly for dropping off guests coming in to the park. There are no railings on the drop off side, allowing plenty of space for guests unloading from the tram.
There is still construction on the opposite side of the tram pick up area, behind planters and scrims.
There’s still a lot of work to be done, but we can see certain sections look closer to completion than others.
Now we’ll just have to adjust to the slight changes around the EPCOT tram loop. With so much construction at EPCOT, be sure to keep following for more updates. For another look at the new tram loop, check out our video below.
