Work to remove the large frame of the former Innoventions West building is ongoing at EPCOT. Today, we took a look at the latest progress at the site.
The former Club Cool and Fountain View building has shrunk segment by segment over the last few weeks.
From the rear of the site, guests walk by the empty framework.
New on site, a massive yellow crane now rises above the walls.
When walking through the breezeway, we noticed several guests peeking through the window. A large section of the black cover on the windows had fallen down at eye level, giving guests a window into what’s left of the building from the inside.
From above, we can clearly see the large crane that is now on site to help in the removal process.
The Fountain of Nations is now completely flattened.
All that remains where water once danced to music throughout the day are a few pieces of construction equipment.
From the end, it is easy to tell where sections used to connect to the old frame.
A view from the monorail gives us a window into the site where the new Future World will rise soon.
The wraps up our look at the demo at Innoventions West. Stay tuned while we continue to monitor the progress of this site.
