The infamous “plastic” cheese sauce at Walt Disney World has newly arrived at a quick service dining location in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Cheese sauce can now be added to your order of french fries at Backlot Express for a nominal fee.

Made famous at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in the Magic Kingdom, cheese sauce has been missing at Walt Disney World for a while. At Cosmic Ray’s, the cheese sauce used to be complimentary on the condiment bar, but Backlot Express is charging a small fee to cheese up your fries.

For $1.00, guests can add a small tub of cheese sauce to their french fries. Unlike the pre-packaged containers that usually come with pretzels, the sauce is served warm in a small cup. We know the addition of cheese sauce will make the fries at Backlot Express that much better.
