EPCOT’s ongoing construction in the France pavilion saw some cartoonish additions today. Decorative elements akin to the aesthetic of the film Ratatouille were added to the facades inside the expanded area that will soon welcome guests in the park.
Various chimneys were added overnight to the roof of several buildings inside the pavilion’s construction area.
Even the large background facade saw chimneys added.
Several of the roofs also saw decorative exposed brick added as well.
Elsewhere around the construction zone, work continues around the exterior of La Creperie de Paris.
Final paving of various walkways and sidewalks around the land is beginning to take shape. This small trench had been covered with plywood in recent weeks, but was revealed today with a frame in place below for additional cement.
Over inside the pavilion, more sidewalk and cobblestones were removed outside of Plume et Palette.
Ropes kept guests away from the fresh pavement as it cured, meaning guests who wanted to visit La Signature had to walk through Plume et Palette or walk around the backside of the shops.
Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest in Disney parks news.
I cant wait for someone to climb these facades and lick the new chimneys. Sounds like a good Friday night.
