Good morning from everyone’s favorite fairytale park, Magic Kingdom! This weekend was the runDisney Princess Half Marathon, which altered traffic patterns as runners overtook the roads in between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
We parked at EPCOT to avoid some traffic, and were greeted with this awesome sight. These athletes are so inspiring!
Once we got into Magic Kingdom, we were greeted with this early morning treat. These classic automobiles are available to transport guests down Main Street, U.S.A. in style.
Speaking of classic, how fun is this display of merchandise featuring the classic couple themselves?
On our way to Tomorrowland, we caught a glimpse of one of our favorite landscaping features in the park. If you’re a fan of character topiaries like this one, you should check out EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival, opening March 4, 2020. The menus for that event were just released!
Once in Tomorrowland, we noticed the refurbishments to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover have progressed a bit. These legs are slowly being turned from metallic grey to white, and this one is the latest to be transformed.

Once we entered Storybook Circus, we noticed this new construction box had gone up in this planter next to Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
We stopped for a snack before checking on Splash Mountain refurbishment. This is the Pepper Jack stuffed pretzel from the pretzel cart across from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
Since we’ve been following the refurbishment progress on this structure on Splash Mountain, we were excited to see the roof is finally complete!
Another construction project that we’ve been following is this structure that is being built in front of the entrance of Magic Kingdom. Over the last few days, all of the roofing panels have been added, completing the skeletal structure of this building!
