Hello from Disney’s fairytale center, Magic Kingdom! Let’s see what’s new at this iconic park.
Right away we spotted these new nightlights featuring favorite Magic Kingdom icons. All four are available at the Emporium. Check out our full report on them here!
In Tomorrowland, another leg supporting the PeopleMover has been updated to the new white color scheme. Do you like the new fresh look or do you prefer the original dark grey? Let us know in the comments!
Moving on through the park, we noticed a change to the “it’s a small world” attraction construction walls. The unattractive off white work lights originally installed in these walls have been replaced with somewhat on-theme lantern lights.
We certainly feel these lights look better in these brightly-decorated construction walls.
Next we took a moment to admire Splash Mountain, now fully open after it’s yearly refurbishment. We’ve been watching its construction progress for so long it almost seems strange for it to be running! Guests wishing to ride this attraction while staying mostly dry will be disappointed––there’s no escaping a hefty splash at the end now!
There’s a new snack in town, or rather a new place to find a favorite snack. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is now serving chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.
You can’t beat a classic, and now you can get both right here in one place!
Here’s today’s installment in the “Look Up” series. Hint: this lovely chandelier can either be the first or the last thing you see in Magic Kingdom, depending on how fast you hit Main Street.
A new construction wall and scrim has appeared in Adventureland. Thankfully, guests will not be too badly impacted by this addition, it only covers some seating areas.
We had an amazing time on this beautiful day at Magic Kingdom. Until next time, may all your dreams come true.
