Tomorrow marks the day that select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be reopening to Guests, with the rest of the hotels following later in the summer into early fall. In anticipation of this reopening, it seems the Disney Magical Express is getting ready to resume operations at Orlando International Airport.
Walking into the Magical Express area brings us just a little bit of joy, even if it isn’t running yet.
Surrounding the check-in area we’re greeted with signs reminding Guests to social distance, as well as a hand sanitizer station. The booths for the Cast Members are also surrounded by Plexiglas.
Here we get a better view of the workstation for Cast Members, which has been roped off to allow for social distancing.
Moving through the queue area where Guests wait to load onto their Magical Express bus, social distancing signs can be found throughout.
There’s also a chance for you to use hand sanitizer before joining the line.
Above we see the assignments for each resort and their number queue that Guests will join depending on where they are staying.
With only a limited number of lines available, six, this allows for each queue area to spread out and keep Guests at a safe distance from each other.
Above is a nice picture of a sign that can be found reminding Guests to stay six feet apart from other parties.
Leading out to the area with the buses, there’s additional social distancing signage located on the sliding doors and another hand sanitizer stand.
