It may be ninety degrees outside, but you can still celebrate Christmas in July at the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom. We took a look inside the “shoppe” to see the social distancing measures they have put in place for the park’s reopening.
This shop is nestled into a corner of Liberty Square, which is a great place to hang out if you’re still in Hamilton mode.
The doors are designated as either an entrance or exit. Unlike some other stores, this is only clear by a small sign on the open door.
Inside, hand sanitizer and a health and safety sign greet you.
You can buy some Fourth of July merchandise if Christmas isn’t your style.
Social distancing markers lead guests to the register. As usual, plexiglass dividers are set up on the counter to keep Cast Members protected.
It’s slow season for Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, so most of the registers are closed.
There is a hand sanitizer stand at every exit, and this door has an “exit only” sign on the ground outside.
This store has some small spaces, so guests need to be careful to keep six feet apart.
