Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a thrilling dark ride, located in Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure. Prior to entering the queue, wizards and Muggles alike will be asked to store their bags into lockers. The lockers are in a tight, small area at the entrance to Hogwarts Castle, which was often overcrowded long before social distancing was a thing. Well, it looks like a solution to this problem is coming soon with the addition of new lockers.
As we make our way from Hogsmeade into Jurassic Park, a large, gray structure has been ruining our view of the Jurassic Park arch. We’ve recently learned that this is the addition of new lockers for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey attraction.
If you’ve entered the attraction lately, you may have noticed these walls to the left hand side. This will eventually open up and lead guests to a new set of lockers, where they will be able to easily enter, drop off their belongings, and then return back to the entrance of the attraction. We’re looking forward to an easier locker area and Team Members seemed very excited about them, too.
We heard work actively happening behind the walls, so we hope this project moves quickly. Even if not for the sake of social distancing, Forbidden Journey has been long overdue for these new lockers. Be sure to stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more from Universal Orlando Resort!
