If you’re planning on shopping for some stylish new face coverings at the Universal Orlando Resort, you’ll be paying a little more now. There has been no shortage of designs, from E.T. to Hogwarts Houses, there’s something for everyone. Prices have been $6 each or 4 for $20, but now you’ll be paying a whopping $8 each or 3 for $20.
The price of face masks has increased by $2 each, which is a pretty significant increase over night. Discounts cannot be applied to the masks, either.
We noticed Team Members using black markers to cross off the old $6.00 prices written on some of the packaging.
Although Florida has recently entered Phase 3 of reopening, face masks are still required at the Universal Orlando Resort and there is plenty of signage around the park to serve as a reminder. Let us know in the comments what you think of the price increase on face coverings around the Universal Orlando Resort.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS. $6 was a bit much, but $8 a piece is horrible. This is borderline price gouging.
I miss you Mickey!!! Nobody does it like your team. Your cruises are phenomenal and your amusement parks are wonderful. I’m 12 years old every time I go through the gates!
Meh. What’s $2? $8 is still pretty reasonable, I think.
